British billionaire and former owner of Tottenham Hotspur

Joe Lewis

a.k.a. “The Tottenham Tipster”

He pleaded guilty to insider trading: tipping friends, employees and a girlfriend about stocks, and lending some of them money to trade. He got probation and a $5 million fine, and his company was fined $44 million. The White House said he wanted the pardon so he could get medical care and visit his grandchildren in the U.S.
